About FVLC

The Fox Valley Library Council, Inc. (FVLC) was established in 1977 by the libraries of the Fox Valley. As a nonprofit corporation, the Council brings together the collections and professional expertise of school, public, academic and special libraries. The Council plans programs and services which allow sharing of materials and information with all residents of east central Wisconsin. The council also cooperates with other regional library councils throughout Wisconsin.

FVLC primarily serves the east central Wisconsin counties of Outagamie, Winnebago, Waupaca, Green Lake, Waushara, Marquette and Fond du Lac.

FVLC Annual Meeting and Prorgam!

Humor for the Health of It
Friday, May 6, 2016, 9:00am-1:00pm

We look forward to seeing you at this Fox Valley Library Council event with speaker Bill Collar at the new Kaukauna Public Library (map)

This fun, upbeat presentation utilizes humor and historical references to emphasize the importance of keeping a positive attitude as the key to personal motivation and peak performance.  The value of enjoying life and finding humor in daily activities is examined through the use of pictures, anecdotes and real life experiences.  Humor and laughter help us transcend any predicament with feelings that are lighthearted, carefree, and hopeful.  Bill Collar says, “The shortest distance between two people is a humorous line.”   Take advantage of this opportunity to determine your H. Q. (Humor Quotient).  Lighten up and laugh!

The workshop will be followed by lunch, a tour of the new library, and the annual FVLC business meeting and elections. All are welcome to attend.
